Our Commitment
The Cancer Compass Beyond The Diagnosis now stands as a united Nonprofit Organization on a mission servicing families affected by both Colon Cancer and Leukemia Cancer. Built from personal loss and guided by purpose, our organization is dedicated to awareness, support, education, and advocacy for both communities. Through this expanded mission, we honor both Rosalinde M. Roberts and Ernest T. Roberts while continuing to provide hope, resources, and compassionate support to those facing Cancer. Our goal is simple: keep raising awareness, helping families, and carrying this mission forward with love, strength and purpose.
Â
Established on October 25, 2024, by Angel Thomas, this organization is a living tribute to her Mother, Rosalinde M. Roberts and now her Father, Ernest T. Roberts. Our work honors the unwavering kindness, strength showed throughout Rosalinde 15-month battle with Stage 4 Colon Cancer before her passing on September 11, 2024 and Ernest 2-month battle with terminal AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) before passing on July 31, 2026. Their bravery fuels our dedication to helping families.
Â
Our official public debut was on March 20, 2026 and we remain steadfast in our pursuit of a world where every patient and family member touched by Cancer receives the reliable guidance they truly deserve.
